Jake Bauers Traded To Mariners
3 years agoSeattle Mariners first baseman/outfielder Jake Bauers was acquired as part of a trade after being designated for assignment by Cleveland. He joins the team Thursday, and is in the starting lineup batting seventh and playing first base. Bauers becomes another name in the mix for playing time while regulars Evan White, Dylan Moore, and Kyle Lewis are out of action with injuries. The 25-year-old Bauers was batting .190 with two home runs in 43 games for Cleveland at the time of the trade. He should not be a priority for fantasy managers.
