3 years agoDetroit Tigers pitcher Beau Burrows has been recalled from Triple-A on Thursday. He will be taking the roster spot of Rony Garcia (knee) who has been placed on the 10-day injured list. Garcia suffered a left knee sprain during warmups on Wednesday. His timetable to return is unknown, but he wasn't exactly an asset in fantasy leagues anyway. Burrows is expected to take over the long relief role, but posted a 6.23 ERA through 17 1/3 innings in Triple-A this season.
