3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Zack Wheeler continued his run of dominance with eight shutout innings against the Braves on Thursday. The right-hander struck out 12 while allowing just four hits in his latest brilliant performance. Wheeler has pitched at least seven innings in eight of his last nine starts and has a 1.75 ERA in that span. He's doing this with a career-high 32 percent strikeout rate and he induced another 20 swinging strikes today against a good Atlanta lineup.
