4 years agoKansas City Royals shortstop Adalberto Mondesi (hamstring) was able to take batting practice ahead of Thursday's game against the Oakland Athletics. It's also worth noting that Mondesi took fielding drills as well before Thursday's contest. It certainly seems that the young infielder is making solid progress. He has been sidelined since June 6 because of a lingering hamstring injury. The Royals have not given a timetable for his return, but maybe late June or early July is possible. Fantasy managers should keep him rostered or snag him off the waiver wire, assuming someone gave up on him.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
