Ross Stripling Allows Four Runs Versus Red Sox
3 years agoToronto Blue Jays starting pitcher Ross Stripling struck out six batters while allowing four runs over 5 2/3 innings versus the Red Sox in Friday's no-decision. The right-hander was solid for most of his outing by allowing just a solo homer as he entered the sixth, but he went on to give up three hits and a run before Tyler Chatwood allowed two of his runners to come around to score as well. Stripling had put together three-straight stellar outings going into this one, and he was one strike away from making it a fourth tonight. He'd be a good target to stream if he wasn't facing the Yankees next week, but he lines up against the Marlins and Orioles after that which makes him a player to monitor on your watchlist.
