Ronald Torreyes Collects Two Hits Versus Former Team
3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies shortstop Ronald Torreyes went 2-for-4 with an RBI against the Yankees on Saturday. Torreyes, who played for New York from 2016-18, is heating up at the plate playing in the absence of another former Yankee, Didi Gregorius (wrist). The utilityman is now batting .311 on the season and has six hits in his last four games. While Torreyes has filled in admirably for the Phillies, he doesn't hold much fantasy value buried eighth in the batting order. He's a solid punt-play in DFS games when he is playing, but most fantasy managers should look elsewhere for a shortstop.
