3 years agoOakland Athletics relief pitcher Jake Diekman pitched a clean eighth innings to earn a hold versus the Royals on Sunday. Lou Trivino earned the save making it four-straight saves that have gone to Trivino. Manager Bob Melvin does prefer to play the matchups with the righty Trivino and the lefty Diekman, so it wouldn't be surprising to see Diekman in a save chance soon. In most fantasy leagues, however, Trivino should be prioritized as the A's closer to roster.
