3 years agoThe Detroit Tigers announced Monday on the team's official public relations Twitter account that they optioned infielder Isaac Paredes to Triple-A Toledo and reinstated reliever Michael Fulmer (shoulder) from the injured list. Paredes provided the Tigers with some infield depth after Jeimer Candelario's placement on the bereavement list. He collected three walks, two runs, a home run, a triple and a single in 24 plate appearances and would've had another home run if Mariners outfielder Jake Fraley didn't rob the 22-year-old of a walk-off home run last week. Paredes has played third base, shortstop and second base in his minor league career and could be a useful stash candidate in deeper leagues in case of an injury or if Detroit trades Jonathan Schoop in the coming weeks.--Ben Rosener - RotoBaller
