Mitch Haniger Not In The Lineup On Monday
3 years agoThe Associated Press' Tim Booth reported Monday in a tweet that Seattle Mariners outfielder Mitch Haniger (knee) won't play for the M's on Monday. Manager Scott Servais is optimistic that Haniger can avoid a stint on the injured list. That'd be ideal for not just the Mariners but fantasy managers as well. The outfielder has been among one of the best at his position so far with 16 home runs already in 274 plate appearances. Haniger's 13.7% barrel rate is a career-high, and if his walk rate returns to anywhere close to what it was in his last two full seasons (10.6% in 2019 and 10.2% in 2018), the 26-year-old could truly be in for a banner year.
