Ke'Bryan Hayes Extends Hitting Streak To 19 Games
3 years agoPittsburgh Pirates third baseman Ke'Bryan Hayes increased his hitting streak to 19 games on Monday. Hayes had the first hit of Monday's game with a line-drive single in the first inning of Pittsburgh's first game of the week against the Washington Nationals. The 19-game streak ties Hayes for the longest hitting streak by a rookie in Pirates history, dating back to 1900. The marker ties him with shortstop Kevin Newman, who strung 19 straight games worth of hits together in 2019. Obviously, Hayes is a must-start fantasy asset at the moment with high-end upside.
