4 years agoAtlanta Braves catcher Travis d'Arnaud (thumb) is expected to return sometime by August, according to GM Alex Anthopoulos. In early May, d'Arnaud had surgery to repair a torn ligament in his left thumb. He'll obviously still need to play in some rehab games and get back into his groove before returning to the roster. There is still a long way to go, but this is positive news. He wasn't doing much with the bat before landing on the injured list. Fantasy managers without an IL spot on their roster should look for someone who can actually produce right now.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
