Joey Votto Homers, Drives In Three
3 years agoCincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto went 2-for-4 with a homer and three RBI in a 10-2 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Monday. Votto's homer was a two-run shot that came in the seventh inning to tack on some extra insurance runs for his team in the win. The veteran first baseman has been on a power kick since returning from the injured list. In his 25 at-bats since getting reinstated, Votto is hitting .280 with three homers, six runs, and 12 RBI. Overall, Votto has a .237 average, eight homers, 15 runs, and 29 RBI across 131 at-bats. He should continue to rack up the counting stats hitting fifth in an explosive Cincy lineup.
