3 years agoCincinnati Reds second baseman Jonathan India went 3-for-4 with a double, a run, an RBI, a steal, and a walk in a 10-2 win over the Milwaukee Brewers on Monday. India has settled in nicely as the leadoff hitter for Cincinnati over the past nine games. He has been on fire at the plate lately, hitting .340 with two homers, 11 runs, seven RBI, and two steals over his past 15 games. The Reds will need to shuffle their infield soon with Mike Moustakas expected sometime during their four-game series with the San Diego Padres this week, but India has certainly earned a starting role going forward. Look for him to continue to see the majority of the playing time at second base.--Matt T - RotoBaller
