Pavin Smith Getting A Night Off On Tuesday
3 years agoArizona Diamondbacks outfielder Pavin Smith is sitting out Tuesday's game vs. the San Francisco Giants. This appears to just be a routine day off for the rookie so he should be available off the bench as a pinch-hitter. The 25-year-old has struggled over his last seven games, slashing .200/.259/.241 so a night of rest should do him some good. Overall, he's having a solid year in the desert with a .283 batting average and .772 OPS to go along with five home runs and 22 RBI. Josh Reddick is in right field, David Peralta is in left, and Ketel Marte will man center against Zack Littell and the Giants.
