3 years agoNew York Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez went 2-for-5 with a home run and a double in Tuesday's 6-5 win over the Toronto Blue Jays. Sanchez crushed a ball 410 feet to left field at an exit velocity of 105.3 MPH for his ninth long ball of the season. He later ripped a double down the line but was left stranded on base. Sanchez has now homered three times in the last week and has a pretty solid expected slugging percentage along with some encouraging batted ball metrics. He may never be a factor in the batting average department, but he can still slug with the best of the backstops in baseball.--Tim Capurso
