Chi Chi Gonzalez Takes A No-Decision On Tuesday
3 years agoColorado Rockies right-hander Chi Chi Gonzalez took a no-decision on Tuesday when he allowed four runs on six hits with one walk and two strikeouts over six innings in an 8-4 win over the Padres. Gonzalez surrendered all four of his runs in the first two innings before settling in over the next four frames. Fernando Tatis Jr. took him deep for a two-run blast in the first inning before Victor Caratini and Yu Darvish each knocked in a run in the second. The 29-year-old righty now owns a lackluster 5.76 ERA, 1.45 WHIP, and 33:16 K/BB ratio over 59 1/3 innings (13 appearances, nine starts). He'll square off against the Brewers at home on Sunday for his next start but shouldn't be started in any fantasy leagues.
