3 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Taijuan Walker went seven innings on Tuesday against the Cubs allowing just five hits and two earned runs while striking out 12 in the Mets 3-2 win. Walker improved to 6-2 on the season and remains the Mets best free-agent signing from this past offseason. Walker has been one of the best pitchers in the NL in 2021 and owns a 2.12 ERA, a 1.00 WHIP, and 72 strikeouts over 68 innings pitched. Fantasy managers who rolled the dice on Walker in the middle-to-late rounds of drafts this past spring are getting incredible value given his outstanding performance. Managers should continue to keep Walker active in all formats for his next scheduled start on Sunday in Washington against the Nationals.--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
