3 years agoNew York Mets catcher James McCann went 1-for-3 with a single and walk in the Mets 3-2 win over the Cubs on Tuesday. McCann also made a critical play at the plate in the ninth inning to preserve the Mets win when Jake Marisnick was thrown out trying to score from first base on a double by Eric Sogard. After a rough April and May, McCann has turned it on in June. He is slashing .325/.386/.600 over 40 at-bats in June with three home runs and 11 RBI. While he remains hot, McCann should be utilized as a streaming option in one-catcher and DFS formats.--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
