C.J. Cron Blasts A Two-Run Homer In Victory
3 years agoColorado Rockies first baseman C.J. Cron went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in an 8-7 win over the San Diego Padres on Wednesday. Cron blasted his second home run in the last three games off of Blake Snell in the bottom of the first inning to put the Rockies up 3-0. The veteran slugger has gotten off to a sluggish start this season and has underwhelmed from a power perspective but he's now reached in five straight games so he appears to be seeing the ball better. He owns a .250/.357/.429 batting line with seven home runs and 21 RBI across 168 at-bats this year. He's worth adding to your watchlist.
