3 years agoNew York Yankees catcher Gary Sanchez answered the call from manager Aaron Boone in Wednesday's 3-2 win over the Toronto Blue Jays. Sanchez was summoned as a pinch hitter with Miguel Andujar on base in the seventh inning and delivered a towering, two-run homer. The blast traveled 446 feet at an exit velocity of 113.4 MPH. Despite the limited plate discipline, Sanchez has been sensational lately, batting .302 with four home runs, four doubles, nine RBI, and six runs scored in June. He needs to be picked up wherever he was dropped, as his underlying metrics indicate that such performances are here to stay, making him one of the top fantasy backstops to roster.--Tim Capurso
