3 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Dominic Smith went 1-for-3 with a solo home run and two RBI in the Mets 6-3 win over the Cubs on Wednesday. It was Smith's second home run in three games, as his bat has gotten hot during this four-game series against Chicago. He is 4-for-9 with two home runs and three RBI since moving to third in the batting order during this series. Initially projected to return 30-plus HR prior to the season, Smith has been a disappointment thus far. However, moving Smith to the third spot in the lineup between Francisco Lindor and Pete Alonso has seemed to pay off in terms of getting Smith better pitches to hit. Fantasy managers should keep Smith active with Kyle Hendricks set to take the mound for the Cubs in the final game of the series on Thursday.--Nick Ritrivi - RotoBaller
