4 years agoNew York Mets outfielder Albert Almora (shoulder) is expected to be reinstated from the 10-day injured list on Saturday, per manager Luis Rojas. The Mets have a doubleheader on Saturday and plan to activate the outfielder ahead of one of them. He slashed 048/.091/.048 across 22 plate appearances in 2021 before the injury. Almora is more known for his defense and doesn't provide much fantasy value. The 27-year-old will share centerfield duties with Kevin Pillar while starter Brandon Nimmo (finger) is sidelined.
