Mike Brosseau Optioned To Triple-A
3 years agoThe Tampa Bay Rays optioned infielder Mike Brosseau to Triple-A on Saturday. The versatile Brosseau has hit .182 in 148 plate appearances so far this season with 16 RBI, four home runs, and a stolen base. The Rays have utilized Brosseau at first base, second base, and third base this season. However, due to the team's multitude of infield options, the 27-year-old isn't worthy of stashing in even the deepest of fantasy leagues right now. In addition to current infield options like Brandon Lowe, Joey Wendle, Taylor Walls, Yandy Diaz, and Ji-Man Choi, Tampa Bay has yet to call up either Wander Franco or Vidal Brujan.
