4 years agoAs we suspected in our matchup outlook, Bruno Silva (19-6) impressed in his UFC debut, securing a first-round knockout victory over fellow Brazilian Wellington Turman on Saturday. Turman tried to keep Silva on the mat for the majority of the battle, but Silva ended up in the top position, which was the beginning of the end. Silva rained down shots, with one heavy blow knocking Turman clean out. With the win, Silva has now secured 17 of his 19 career wins by KO/TKO.
