4 years agoIt was a tough night in the Octagon for Davey Grant (13-5) on Saturday, as he took a unanimous-decision loss to Marlon Vera. Though it was a great battle, Grant took more of a beating, absorbing 105 significant strikes compared to the 85 he landed. With the loss, Grant had his three-fight winning streak snapped and allowed Vera to avenge a loss from their meeting in February of 2016. The 35-year-old British fighter is still dangerous and is worth keeping an eye on, depending on his matchup.--Matt Bricker - RotoBaller
