3 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Sean Manaea was the tough-luck loser on Sunday in Yankee Stadium, despite a season-high 11 strikeouts. Manaea cruised through five innings in a Father's Day pitcher's duel versus fellow lefty Jordan Montgomery, but he served up a two-run double in the sixth which would be the difference in the game. Despite the loss, Manaea continued to be a strong option in fantasy. He's allowed two runs or fewer in six straight starts, pitching to a 1.19 ERA in that span.
