3 years agoCincinnati Reds right-hander Luis Castillo took a hard-luck loss in his Sunday start against the San Diego Padres. Castillo allowed three runs (two earned) over six innings of work in the 3-2 loss. He struck out seven and walked three in the contest. Castillo got off to a horrid start this season but he has been better of late, having allowed three earned runs or fewer in each of his past five starts. Overall, Castillo has a 2-10 record, 5.61 ERA, 1.51 WHIP, and 74 strikeouts over 77 innings of work. He is scheduled to face off against the Atlanta Braves in his next start.--Matt T - RotoBaller
