3 years agoMinnesota Twins catcher Mitch Garver (groin) has been cleared to resume baseball activities Monday, per Dan Hayes of The Athletic. Garver has been sidelined since June 1 with a groin contusion, which required surgery, though he was on the field playing catch, his first real activity since landing on the injured list. The veteran backstop remains without a timetable, but it's certainly a good sign to see him back on the field in any capacity. Ryan Jeffers, who has taken advantage of the increase in playing time, should continue to see the majority of starts until Garver is ready to return.--Tim Capurso
