NHL DFS Prop Picks for 6/22 - PrizePicks

Hello everybody and welcome! We bring you the final Stanley Cup Semifinal playoff edition of NHL DFS on PrizePicks and that means our friends over at PrizePicks have a TON of great props we can look to take advantage of. PrizePicks is a great DFS props site where you can choose to select plays in terms of fantasy points or single stats. The goal is to build a 2-player, 3-player, 4-player, or 5-player entry and then select whether or not you want to play for the power play or the flex play. On the power play, you will need to be correct on each of your selections to win, and on the flex play, you will have a little more wiggle room for a chance to win some money back.

Our partners at PrizePicks offer some of the best, and easiest to win, NHL DFS games in the industry. There are no large-field tournaments filled with sharks where you have to get lucky just to place. At PrizePicks, you're not playing against other people, you're just playing against the projections, and the guys at PrizePicks have worked hard to give you really attractive opportunities to make some money. With promo code 'BALLER' you can get a 100% match on your deposit up to $100.

PrizePicks has two types of games. The first type of game is known as Fantasy Score. This game consists of selecting various players and trying to determine if they will go over or under their projected fantasy points in a game. The second game is known as Single Stat. For NHL, Single Stat consists of save and shooter shot props in which you determine if the goalie or shooter in question will go over or under their projected save and shot total respectively. You can mix and match players from each type of game in your entry or select all of your plays from the same type of game. Once you have selected your players and props, you can choose the aforementioned flex play or power play option. For today's article, we are going to try and focus on the main board's Fantasy Score and see which players may go over or under their projected point totals. Let's see what the board offers today!

Please note that today's slate has no overlap with Wednesday's game. So, if it seems like there are fewer names, that is why. We will focus on tonight's game with hints on Slack and social media for the overlap as well. There will be a few more picks on social media as conditions and statuses change.

Fantasy Score Point Totals

Jonathan Marchessault Under 3.5 Points. Sometimes the offense forgets player and then oh, Jonathan Marchessault. The forward tallied a hat trick and another goal in two games late in the Colorado series. Since then, Marchessault has just an assist in his last five games. Also, he has just five shots in that span. That presents quite a problem. If anyone is going to attack the over somewhere, it might be Max Pacioretty. Pacioretty may just finally break out in Game 5 on Tuesday night.

Tyler Toffoli Under 3.4 Points. Tuesday night may feature another installment of will Montreal even score more than one goal? Montreal had the first 17 high-danger scoring chances on Sunday night but managed just one goal off a transition from a penalty kill to even-strength. Toffoli and his offense have dried up a bit. He has just four shots on goal over these previous two games with no points and no blocked shots. Most forget that the winger went three games in the Toronto series without making a peep offensive-wise. It may be better to look toward Cole Caufield and Nick Suzuki.

Alex Pietrangelo Over 4.5 Points. This could be somewhat of a risk but Pietrangelo keeps firing shots on net. He is now up to nearly four shots a game on goal along with the potential of several blocked shots on Tuesday night. That includes 3+ blocked shots in four of his last six starts. That is quite a floor which explains why his prop rose 20% from last week's low of 3.6. Even 4.5 may be considered a bit low. A home contest in Game 5 may just suit the defenseman well. Consider that seven of the last ten goals scored by Vegas have been from the blueline.

Josh Anderson Under 2.5 Points. There was finally an Anderson sighting on Friday night as he scored twice but then he reverted back to not scoring. Anderson has three goals in the postseason. He did have two shots on goal in Game 4 but no quality scoring chances. After going so many games without a goal, it does seem Anderson is far more focused on hitting the opposition. If hits counted on PrizePicks, we would take the over. The winger has 5+ hits in each of his last four games. However, this is not how it works. Anderson does not possess enough floor upside to justify rostering on Tuesday night.
