3 years agoMinnesota Twins designated hitter Nelson Cruz went 1-for-5 with a home run and a walk in Monday's 7-5 win over the Cincinnati Reds. Cruz delivered the first run of the game, a 424-foot blast with an exit velocity of 116.5 MPH, his second hardest-hit ball of the season. He appears to be past the neck issue that forced him to leave Sunday's game early and looks poised to continue his torrid June stretch through the end of the month. Cruz has posted a 1.213 OPS with six homers, 13 RBI, and eight runs scored in 56 June at-bats. He'll have a platoon advantage in Tuesday's matchup against Reds' lefty Wade Miley, making him a strong DFS play.--Tim Capurso
