3 years agoBoston Red Sox utility man Danny Santana led off and played center field Tuesday, going 1-for-4 with a walk, a run scored, and a steal. It was his second stolen base of the season. Santana has been largely disappointing since joining the Red Sox, posting just a .490 OPS with two home runs and two steals in 60 at-bats. If he were to lead off more regularly, he might have some value, but this was a fill-in assignment while Christian Arroyo is out with an injury.
