Shed Long Jr. Blasts A Homer Tuesday
Seattle Mariners second baseman Shed Long Jr. connected on a solo shot to help his club defeat the Rockies 2-1 on Tuesday. The utility man has cracked two home runs in two games. Long Jr. has been particularly productive from the plate in his last six games. He's recorded eight hits in the six-game time frame. The 25-year-old is on the upswing and should be a player to keep an eye on, especially if a lineup needs some speed and power.
