3 years agoPittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Steven Brault (lat) is scheduled to throw live batting practice later this week. It'll be his first simulated workout since suffering a lat strain in spring training. His return will be a welcome sight for the Pirates. Last season, Brault posted a 3.38 ERA, 1.195 WHIP and an 8.0 K/9 over 42 2/3 innings. It's uncertain if he'll be able to produce similar numbers this time around. He could be worth a look as a low-end option in standard leagues or as a possible deep league option once he returns.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
