3 years agoDetroit Tigers starting pitcher Spencer Turnbull (forearm) isn't expected to return until after the All-Star break. The veteran currently owns a 4-2 record and a 2.88 ERA throughout nine starts this season. He has been out of the lineup since the beginning of June due to a strained forearm and just recently began a throwing program at Low-A Lakeland, which is a step in the right direction for the 28-year-old. Turnbull is worth a spot on most fantasy rosters, but in the meantime, Matt Manning should continue to hold things down in his place, although he isn't a suitable replacement for those looking to fill a void.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBaller
