4 years agoCincinnati Reds prospect Hunter Greene is adjusting nicely to Triple-A hitters. He struck out six batters and allowed just two hits in five innings of work on Wednesday. The 22-year-old prospect was recently promoted to the level after dominating Double-A ball despite missing more than two years due to Tommy John surgery and the pandemic. At the lower level, he posted a 1.98 ERA with a K-BB ratio of 74-18 in 50 innings. He also gave up just 27 hits and two home runs. Greene had a rough first start in Triple-A last week when he struck out eight batters but allowed four solo homers in four innings of work. With easy triple-digit velocity, this young hurler has a high upside if his secondary pitches continue to develop.--Marc Hulet - RotoBaller
