3 years agoOakland Athletics starting pitcher Chris Bassitt allowed just one run on five hits across seven innings to earn a win over the Rangers on Thursday. Bassitt did walk three and only picked up four K's, but it was another solid outing from the Oakland ace. Bassitt improves to 8-2 on the season with a 3.25 ERA and a 1.06 WHIP. He's got 102 strikeouts in 99 2/3 innings pitched while posting a career-best 25 percent strikeout rate.
