3 years agoOakland Athletics relief pitcher Jake Diekman struck out the side while allowing one hit in his appearance against the Rangers on Thursday. The left-hander has been one of the better non-closers to roster in fantasy, as he's got a 3.13 ERA and a 1.26 WHIP while collecting the occasional save. Where Diekman really stands out, however, is in the strikeout department as he's got 44 punchouts in just 31 2/3 innings while sporting a 32.6 percent strikeout rate.
