Mark Canha Dealing With Left Hip Strain
4 years agoOakland Athletics outfielder Mark Canha (hip) left Thursday's win against the Rangers with an apparent injury. He was 0-for-2 before being replaced by Tony Kemp. Canha is scheduled to have an MRI on Friday, according to MLB.com's Justice delos Santos. This is bad timing for Canha who was having an excellent 2021 campaign as his 55 runs scored ranked fourth in baseball. The A's will provide more information after the MRI, but if Canha were to miss time, Kemp would have the most to gain from a fantasy perspective as he would probably stay in the leadoff spot. Seth Brown and Skye Bolt would likely split time in the outfield, but neither brings much punch to a fantasy lineup.
