3 years agoNew York Yankees first baseman Luke Voit clubbed his third home run of the season in Thursday's 8-1 defeat of the Kansas City Royals. Voit tacked onto the lead in the third inning, drilling a solo homer 362 feet at 101.7 MPH. The slugger has clubbed three extra-base hits in three games since returning from the injured list, including two homers. Voit can hit homers in bunches, especially when healthy, which he finally appears to be after some bumps in the road this season.--Tim Capurso
