3 years agoMinnesota Twins third baseman Josh Donaldson went 2-for-4 with a couple of base hits in his return to the lineup. Donaldson had missed five games with a calf injury, though he surely looked healthy on Thursday night, registering a 107.6 MPH exit velocity on one of his singles. The 35-year-old should be having one of the best seasons of his career, according to Statcast, as his expected batting average is the highest mark he's ever produced while his expected slugging percentage is tied for the best. Three more games against Cleveland could be just what the doctor ordered for Donaldson, who owns a .933 OPS in 235 career plate appearances against the Indians.--Tim Capurso
