3 years agoMilwaukee Brewers first baseman Daniel Vogelbach (hamstring) could be out at least six weeks, manager Craig Counsell said on Friday. Vogelbach was placed on the 10-day injured list earlier this week after straining his left hamstring while running the bases in the Brewers 5-0 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks. His absence has opened up the door for infielder Keston Hiura, who was hitting .403 with five home runs and 14 RBI in 20 games at the Triple-A level before being called back up for the third time this season. Fantasy managers shouldn't rush to pick Hiura up, though, as he still hasn't found his groove at the big-league level and only has one hit in 12 plate appearances for Milwaukee through June.--Chelena Goldman
