3 years agoNew York Yankees third baseman Gio Urshela went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored in Friday's loss to the Boston Red Sox. Urshela reached on a fielder's choice in the second inning, then scored a run on a DJ LeMahieu base hit. He later doubled and reached on an infield single. It's probably safe to say that Urshela is past the leg issue that cost him two games, as he was out on the field before the game getting work in and then put together a strong performance at the plate. Urshela is having an excellent month of June, as he's batting .307 with four homers, seven RBI, and 11 runs scored.--Tim Capurso
