3 years agoSeattle Mariners starting pitcher Yusei Kikuchi came one out shy of a quality start Friday, but was still credited with a victory after allowing one run on two hits and four walks against the Chicago White Sox. He struck out six batters and raised his record to 5-3. Kikuchi now has a 3.34 ERA, 1.04 WHIP, and 87 strikeouts in 86 1/3 innings for the year across 14 starts. He hasn't allowed more than three earned runs in a start since April 23, and is an extremely reliable option for fantasy managers.--Doug Goldring - RotoBaller
