3 years agoAtlanta Braves starting pitcher Mike Soroka (Achilles) suffered a complete re-tear of his right Achilles tendon, according to FanSide's Robert Murray. The right-hander, who in May had originally been ruled out for the season, said last week that he hoped to pitch again in 2021 if he could build his calf strength back up, explaining that his recovery from a second surgery was going better than expected. Soroka, who hasn't pitched since August of last year, should be dropped in redraft leagues, but he still has value in dynasty formats. The 2019 All-Star has a career record of 15-6 with a 2.86 ERA, though his 7.2 K/9 brings little in the strikeout department.--Josh Friedman
