Carlos Carrasco Throws Bullpen Session Saturday
3 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Carlos Carrasco (hamstring) threw a light bullpen session from the edge of the mound on Saturday, but there is still no set timetable for him to start his rehab assignment, Justin Toscano of The Bergen Record reported. Carrasco hasn't pitched all season due to a hamstring strain and multiple setbacks have kept him from starting a rehab assignment. The 34-year-old right-hander registered a 2.91 ERA with 82 strikeouts over 12 starts in the shortened 2020 season for the Cleveland Indians. While fantasy managers likely still want to see Carrasco back in the rotation in the latter half of the season, it's better to keep holding off given how many setbacks he has had in returning.
