Zach Eflin Pitches Well Versus Mets On Saturday
3 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Zach Eflin had a nice bounce-back effort on Saturday as he allowed just one run on five hits across six innings in a no-decision versus the Mets. Eflin was hit hard in his last start but was in control most of this game, as he induced 13 swinging strikes on just 82 pitches. The right-hander lowered his ERA to 4.20, but his ERA indicators suggest he is pitching better than that with an FIP (3.58), xFIP (3.33) and SIERA (3.54) all much lower. Eflin should be started in fantasy in his next outing at home versus a weak Marlins lineup.
