O’s Planning For Freddy Galvis To Be Out On Sunday
3 years agoBaltimore Orioles shortstop Freddy Galvis (quad) exited Saturday's matchup against the Blue Jays, and the team is still currently awaiting MRI results. However, manager Brandon Hyde indicated that the club is planning on having another infielder on hand for the series finale against Toronto on Sunday while also indicating that he is concerned about the ailment. While Galvis is still considered day-to-day because of the quad discomfort, fantasy managers should brace for a possible stint on the injured list. Stevie Wilkerson came in after the veteran's premature exit, although he isn't a reliable fantasy option moving ahead.
