4 years agoMiami Marlins closer Yimi Garcia picked up his 12th save of the season in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Washington Nationals. Garcia pitched a scoreless ninth inning, allowing one hit but striking out two. As is often the case with Garcia, he got away with some very hittable pitches in this one. He's been overall solid this season, posting a 2.79 ERA, but a deeper look at his numbers shows that he's been more lucky than good.
