Connor Wong Makes First Career Start
3 years agoBoston Red Sox catcher Connor Wong made his first career start Saturday against the New York Yankees, and went 1-for-3 with a single. He struck out in both his other at-bats. Wong was originally scheduled to start Sunday, but was moved up to pair with Nathan Eovaldi. This pairing was quite successful, and Wong can be expected to start again on Eovaldi's next turn through the rotation, as long as Kevin Plawecki remains on the injured list. Wong is not a fantasy factor for redraft purposes, but could be a consideration in dynasty formats.
