4 years agoThe Octagon has not been kind to Jai Herbert (10-3), as he dropped his second bout on Saturday, this time by second-round submission in the main-card opener of UFC Vegas 30. The former Cage Warriors champion took on a top-tier fighter who has been struggling of late in Renato Moicano. In nearly 10 minutes of action, Herbert only landed seven significant strikes (18 total strikes) and was taken down five times. The ground game proved to be difficult for Herbert against the veteran Moicano. Hopefully, Herbert will be able to rebound and be better on his feet in his next matchup in a more striker-friendly duel.--Matt Bricker - RotoBaller
